The Family Lawyers: an independent guide to recommended family and matrimonial attorneys across the United States

Each year in May, one leading family lawyer per state is invited to appear in the guide. The in-depth nomination, research, and selection process is conducted independently. More than 35,000 nomination forms are distributed to family law practitioners, in-house counsel, clients and relevant professionals across the country. An initial shortlist for each state is then formed based on peer and client nominations, alongside independent research, before a final selection for each state is made.
